How to read it

Each color is the earliest seat a hand opens from. A later seat opens everything in its color and every color above it.

Raise from any positionPairs down to 77, big suited broadways, AK and AQ. These open from under the gun.
Hijack and later66, 55, suited aces down to A8s and A5s, suited connectors like 98s, plus AJo and KQo.
Cutoff and buttonEvery remaining pair, every suited ace, more suited connectors, and offsuit broadways down to JTo.
Button and small blindSteal hands. A8o, K9o, T9o, K8s. Profitable when only the blinds are left, folds anywhere else.

Then practice it

The trainer deals you a hand and a seat. You answer, it tells you if you were right and why, and it deals the next one. Hands you miss come back more often until they stop being a problem.

Raise or fold from every seat, then 3-bet, call, or fold when someone opens ahead of you, then build a full range from memory and get it graded.
